would say its probably worth visiting but not much there till all the shops open. spinneys is ok but unless you are living near by not worth paying a taxi to get there as most of what you get you can get at the other supermarkets.

Worth going for a look around but personally for a weekly shop not worth paying the taxi fare long way to go if when you get there they don't have what you need which is what happened to us when we went, no potatoes/mushrooms/peppers/tomatoes so we ended up going to metro a couple of days later. |

I live in Hurghada and have been to Senzo twice now.. firstly its a good taxi ride away and it is at least 10 le each way even for Egyptians.
There are micro buses that go this cost 2le each way for everyone.
As stated only a few small outlets apart from Spinnets that are open as yet.
Spinneys is ok but dont expect to find any of the specail offers they are so freely advertising in their free magazine.
On both occassions I have been sorely dissapointed at this and even made a complaint to the manager about this. He said that soooo many people had been there that they had sold out!!!! this is rubbish , as I know many people who have been and the store is always mostly empty.
I also complained to The Managing Director Via Email that theyre were getting people to travel all the way there under false pretences..this email of course was not responded to.
In all when its up and running it maybe ok for the odd trip or 2 but for weekly shopping Metro is a safer bet.
The Spinneys in Cairo is twice the size and has far more choice as far as houshold goods , electricals clothes, linen.
Thought they were actually going to do the same here but have been let down.
