tetouan , i think
there are quite a few largescale developments again based on sea and golf..

also i have seen older style properties in old towns such as fez being developed with little cost achieving profit.

nice to invest here..

do you know what.. im born out of indian fatherage and im more attached to africa.

Lol, Africa is magical,if it wasn't for it's obvious troubles all the coast from top to bottom would be superb to invest in.
My family are from Africa Kenya,so maybe that's why I like it.
Morroco is a superb place from what I hear however I haven't heard any positive remarks about the weather in winter here.
Anybody tell us what the weather is like in winter?...

My answer to where is it best to buy is always - what are you looking for!

There are some great resorts on the North Coast but (it links to the other question) it's not as warm there in the winter. If it's guaranteed sun and heat you're after you might need to go further afield than Morocco. However it is much warmer than here and even the North Coast is like Southern Spain in climate - so much better than anything we've got! I've been to the Atlantic Coast at the end of November and it was scorching (very similar to Canaries I hear which as they're just off the coast I guess shouldn't be a surprise!)

If you're after a renovation project there are lots of locations, towns and villages where there are some fantastic opportunites. I know someone whose gone down this route very succesfully on the Atlantic coast.

If off plan probably best to stick to the Med and Atlantic coasts where all the holiday makers go - there are some very impressive projects under construction and protected rental guarantees are available.

The other option of course in Marrakech where you can choose between holiday type properties and those more aligned to buy-to-let. I was out there in January and it was warm enough to sit around the pool and sunbathe all day whilst the Atlas Mountains dominated the sky line and were covered in snow! Beautiful! Locals said it was warmer than normal but I guess you can get away with a nice winter break, see some sun and find it much warmer than here! Weather not as guaranteed as, say, Egypt perhaps but a bit easier to use for weekend breaks.

Have you looked at L'Amandier in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. It consists of 16 luxury villas, 8 of which I believe have now been sold.. The villas are stunning having been designed by an award winning London architect. It's only 50km away from Marrakech. The villas offer superb rental returns as well as premium growth.. It is also a stones throw from Richard Bransons Kasbat-Tamadot.

The area is also benefiting from vast investment and will be extremely up and coming, with access to local ski resorts and activities e.t.c.

If you want any more information with no hassle, may it be pictures or whatever then I'd be happy to oblige. contact me at alxking1@hotmail.com
