Places to eat and drink, Egypt

New restaurant opened on the Esplanade by the name of Gad located just after Mcdonalds,there is another branch which opened up late last year on Sheraton Street,just after Sherry Street.
Egyptian cuisine including sandwiches,mixed grills amongst other items.
I have been told there are quite a few branches scattered around Egypt and it is well known name with the Egyptians,if you do try it please let us know how you rate it.
I tried the Sheraton street one a few months ago,had a mixed grill which was massive,nice but couldnt eat it all.

Youve been here too long you and Mick,you need a holiday lol.
Will give the chops a try next time,hope you are both well.

Forgot to mention we also had the meat pie lol.  Waheed we still go on holiday, to hotels in Hurghada!!!!

Another new restaurant opened in town, Sea Bar Bistro, owned by the Pork Butcher and serves Bacon, Pork Chops and Belly Pork, big portions so be careful on the starters as one will feed 2!! It is on the road down to the Marina on the same side as Cafe Del Mar. Decor is tasteful, service is attentive, toilets spotless and when you sit outside for a drink after you can see the Marina.

Had a meal at the sea bar bistro, outstanding food, fresh bread baked daily on the premises, spotless place and a very clean kitchen as i spent a day in it re-training the two great eygptian chefs.  The menu was designed by an english chef who as now gone to work on a private yatch and they had forgoten a few minor details. draught heiniken available to wash down this tasty food.
