For any that misunderstood or didn't understand the end of my last posting, I was talking about the owner of the mall next door!! He is the one who has dissapered!!! was not talking about the Resort???????????????

Pleased to hear there is a new painter on the job. The last one made a right mess! For those worried about the dog - he is across the compound and opposite our back balcony. He does not cause much nuisance at all with barking. He 'wuffles' a bit late at night if he hears or sees things/people he does not recognise. In the day he is very quiet. He is also very quick at recognising who should be there. After a couple of days he got used to us and did not bark when he heard us. His area also apeared to be kept clean, but someone should feed the poor thing as he looks a bit on the skinny side. The Oasis site was looking clean and the pool was clean and clear but very cold. also pleased to see that the management took up residents suggestions and placed dining tables on the circular area of the bridge. It looks a whole lot better.

Yesterday was the first time that the restaurant was booked for a private function and what an ideal venue it turned out to be!! The buffet food that the chefs supplied was excellant. Own music and drink was taken, they even kept the drink in the fridge! No time limit, but wouldn't like to push for 4am lol..Waiter stayed on and was perfect, he was very much appreciated. As for location, ideal, no hassle with taxis, just a pleasant srtoll back to the apartment. I would highly recommend it for groups of up to 25 people.

Not happy, sorry. If you happen to live below, behind or very close the noise is not good. I hope they stop the music at a suitable time. I can't believe it, dogs and now loud music!

Sorry you are not happy, but an IPod will only go so high!! and all over by 11pm, so by holiday standards not late or noisy at all!!!

i think it's a fabulous idea to hold private functions in the restaurant. a great idea for everyone especially those that may have something special to celebrate. no looking for a location and as you say chris, a nice short stroll home!

it was a 70th birthday party so it was ideal!! as you said, no looking for a venue but somewhere where it was casual, people mixing and a great buffet to boot!!! not to mention the dancing that was going on!! oh! also the singing, good night was had by all...

I dont suppose you could drink too late though as I presume it is still the only restaurant I know of that does not have a toilet. A legal requirement in most countries but, all together now .........................

You are quite right Billy, but we could have drunk all night if we wanted to, as people who have an apartment on ground level as we do as well, are willing to let people use theirs! but you wouldn't know that!!!! As for legal requirement, are we taliking about the EU?? ooops, you picked the wrong country Billy, Egypt is not in the EU .....

As it was my other halfs 70s birthday i would just like to say that the managment &staff pulled out all the stops to make it a day she will never forget the food was just great the service was brilliant
We had all we could eat plenty to drink and good music with a lot of good friends As for toilets no one had to run as there was ground floor apartments ready to use we finished about 11pm GREAT NIGHT would recomend this venue to all
